Speaker Meetings
Company representatives are given the opportunity to present engineering opportunities and engage with students for 30 minutes. These are an excellent way to establish a company presence on campus. ASME hosts general meetings every other Wednesday at 6:00PM, with the company presenting from 6:30-7:00PM.
Banquet
Our end-of-semester banquets celebrate the accomplishments of ASME and recognize outstanding members and officers. Representatives can present briefly and network for an extended time in a more formal setting.
Tailgates
Tailgates are gatherings for students and company representatives before home football games in order to network in a fun and open environment.
Facility Tours
One of the best ways to learn about engineering industry is by witnessing it first-hand. Facility tours give members an opportunity to be immersed in a company's operations and have a full day of exposure to industry.
Lunch N’ Learns
This smaller and more concentrated setting is a great chance for representatives to share personal company experiences and meet meet passionate and driven ME students. These sessions are an hour long during a weekday and include lunch.
Corporate Social
Socials are a low-stress environment for company representatives to engage with members. Events in the past have included popsicle socials, grill chills, Top Golf, bowling, sporting events, and sports nights.
Community Outreach
Volunteering alongside our members is an excellent way for company representatives to engage and network with them. Companies have this additional opportunity to join our members in an intimate, hands-on, small group while giving back to our community.
Skills Workshop
Representatives can lead a skills development workshop to train members on coding, CAD software, design methodology, and critical thinking skills.
